Improve the ESPN NBA box score viewing experience
This extension adds custom CSS to the ESPN NBA box score to improve the viewing experience.
NOTES
- When you land on the box score page you may need to refresh your browser. For best results open a new tab and hit: http://espn.com/nba/scoreboard.
ENHANCEMENTS
- Fits everything on one page. Team box scores appear side-by-side rather than stacked.
If you wish to remove ads you will need to use an ad blocker.
UPDATES
v 1.4.2 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
July 3rd 2025
- Handle broadcaster for summer league
- Reduce horizontal spacing between date nav (it was busted in May)
v 1.4.1 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
April 6th 2025
- Adds support for new broadcasters which are appearing (MSG network, NBC). Also added Amazon Prime in preparation for next season.
- Stops the sticky header functionality and removes some drop shadows from the play-by-play and team stats iFrames.
v 1.4.0 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
January 18th 2025
- Remember your last sport so it doesn't revert to NBA each time you re-open the extension popover
- Adds a "Top 25 only" checkbox which you can toggle to see all division one NCAA Men's / Women's games. I noticed a lot of Rutgers games weren't appearing in the popover. Your preference will also be remembered when you re-open the extension.
- Adds "storage" permission request (in order to remember "last sport" and "Top 25 only" preferences).
v 1.3.5 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
January 15th 2025
- Improve handling of TNT broadcaster types (now covers tnt / trutv / max).
v 1.3.4 ––––––––––––
This extension adds custom CSS to the ESPN NBA box score to improve the viewing experience.
